Dowway Joint Power’s All-in-One Electric Drive Assembly represents a highly integrated innovation in the field of new energy vehicle powertrains, specifically tailored to meet the performance and space requirements of Class A0 and Class A vehicles. Its core strength lies in deep component integration, which combines seven key systems—motor, electric control, reducer, OBC, DCDC, PDU, and PTC—into a single unit. This integration not only reduces the number of independent components and complex wiring but also brings multiple functional advantages:
- Enhanced electrical efficiency: The bidirectional DCDC design eliminates the need for a pre-charging module, simplifying the circuit and reducing energy loss; by increasing the dynamic heating power of the drive system, the product can minimize or even eliminate the PTC (a dedicated heating component), lowering overall energy consumption.
- Simplified control logic: Integrated PTC control reduces the complexity of gear control strategies, while the elimination of traditional connectors and wiring harnesses reduces potential failure points and improves system reliability.
Another standout feature of this product is its flexible configuration options, which allow automakers to customize the system based on vehicle positioning and functional needs:
- DCDC: Optional 1.5kW or 2.5kW specifications to match different low-voltage power supply demands.
- OBC: Multiple power levels available (0kW/3.3kW/6.6kW/11kW), supporting vehicles with or without on-board charging capabilities and adapting to various charging speed requirements.
- Material compatibility: Compatible with both Si (silicon) and SiC (silicon carbide) power devices, enabling balance between cost and high-performance scenarios.
In terms of layout and size optimization, the assembly supports both front-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations, adapting to diverse vehicle chassis designs. Despite its multi-component integration, it achieves “miniaturization”—its volume is equivalent to that of same-class 3-in-1 electric drive assemblies—and a lightweight design of only 65kg. This not only saves valuable under-hood or chassis space for vehicles but also reduces overall vehicle weight, contributing to improved energy efficiency and driving dynamics.
Targeted at new energy Class A0 and Class A vehicles (a mainstream segment in the new energy market), this All-in-One Electric Drive Assembly balances integration, flexibility, and practicality. It helps automakers reduce R&D and production costs while enhancing the competitiveness of their models in terms of space, energy efficiency, and reliability.
