The EX70 Seven-in-One Electric Drive System is a next-generation integrated powertrain solution that combines motor, inverter, reducer, onboard charger (OBC), DC-DC converter, power distribution unit (PDU), and DC fast charger into a single compact module. This highly integrated design reduces weight, volume, wiring complexity, and thermal management challenges while improving system efficiency and reliability—making it ideal for mid-to-high-end electric vehicles, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles.
The system features a permanent magnet synchronous motor with 6-layer flat-wire winding, delivering 70kW peak power and 140Nm peak torque at the motor shaft, with a wheel-end peak torque of 1700Nm due to the 10:1 reduction ratio. The rated power is 35kW, and the rated torque is 60Nm, ensuring efficient operation under normal driving conditions. With a maximum speed of 15,000rpm, it provides smooth and responsive performance across city and highway driving scenarios.
Operating within a wide voltage range of 210–390V DC, the system supports both low-voltage and high-voltage battery configurations, enabling compatibility with various vehicle platforms. The water-cooling system ensures stable thermal performance under continuous high-load operation, preventing overheating during prolonged high-speed driving or repeated hard accelerations. This is critical for maintaining efficiency and extending the lifespan of all integrated components.
The onboard charger (OBC) delivers 6.6kW charging power and 3.3kVA discharging power, with an efficiency ≥94%, supporting fast AC charging and regenerative energy utilization. The DC-DC converter outputs 1.5kW, providing stable 12V/24V auxiliary power for vehicle electronics. The PDU manages high-voltage distribution, while the DC charger enables fast charging capabilities.
Engineered for reliability: operates reliably from -40°C to +125°C, withstanding vibrations up to 5g RMS and shock loads of 50G. The IP67-rated housing protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for use in wet, dusty, or muddy environments typical of urban and rural roads.
The system meets ASIL C functional safety standards (ISO 26262), ensuring robust fault detection and response mechanisms. It also complies with EMC Class 3 standards, minimizing electromagnetic interference with other vehicle systems. All units undergo 1,000-hour accelerated life testing, thermal cycling validation, and full-load endurance tests.
