The EW-T1200-600 is a highly integrated electric wheel unit designed for light-duty electric vehicles such as compact SUVs, electric pickup trucks, utility vehicles, and off-road recreational vehicles. It integrates the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), planetary gear reducer, power electronics, and regenerative braking system into a single, compact module—enabling distributed drive architecture where each wheel is independently powered. This design offers superior traction control, improved energy efficiency, and enhanced maneuverability compared to centralized drivetrains.
At its core lies a high-efficiency PMSM delivering 1200N·m peak torque and 600Rpm peak speed, paired with a precision planetary gearbox to optimize power transmission. The system achieves >36N·m/kg torque density, making it ideal for applications requiring high performance in limited space. The rated power is 10kW, with a peak power of 18kW, enabling rapid acceleration and hill climbing capability. The integrated power electronics use SiC MOSFETs for fast switching and low losses, achieving >92% overall efficiency across the operating range.
Regenerative braking is fully integrated: during deceleration, the motor acts as a generator, converting kinetic energy back into electrical energy to extend driving range. The IP67-rated housing ensures complete protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water, while the high mechanical strength design withstands impacts from rough terrain and heavy loads.
