Chassis System

“Three-Power” Systems (Motor, Battery, Electronic Control)

The three-power system is an important part of new energy vehicles, and also the key to the performance and cost. Dowway vehicles can not only complete the vehicle performance from the three-power system to the subsystem scheme design and performance development, but also help customers to develop key components, such as motor, ECU, VCU controller and battery pack structure and management system.

Electric Drive Subsystem converts electrical energy to mechanical power, integrating motor, inverter, and gearbox for EV propulsion.

Compact-stage Platform DPE-01

The Dowway DPE-01 platform can support the development of A00 class to compact front-drive electric sedan and SUV models. The suspension form of front McPherson and rear torsion beam has the characteristics of compact structure, excellent space and low cost. Dowway Based on DPE-01 platform technology to provide customers with new product development, especially the existing fuel vehicle reform EV car solution with the same suspension form.

Mid-size Vehicle Platform DPE-03

Dowway DPE-03 platform is the mainstream platform for medium-sized new energy vehicles, which can support the development of front-drive / four-wheel drive compact and medium-sized SUV class sedan. Its front McPherson and rear multi-link suspension form can better take into account the performance, cost and carrying capacity.

High-end Vehicle Platform DPE-05

Dowway DPE-05 is a high-end intelligent EV platform combining strong mechanical performance with support for advanced intelligent chassis, L3 autonomous driving, and smart cockpit technologies. It features an all-aluminum chassis, front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension, and REPS steering. The intelligent chassis supports semi-active suspension, rear-wheel active steering, and wire-controlled systems. The platform accommodates B- to D-segment SUVs, MPVs, and sedans in rear-, front-, or all-wheel drive configurations, and supports both BEV and PHEV powertrains.
