The OD220 DHT Stator and Rotor Assembly is a high-performance core component designed for Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) systems in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), including passenger cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. This stator and rotor unit is engineered for high efficiency, high power density, and long-term reliability under extreme operating conditions.
The motor delivers peak power from 100kW to 150kW, with peak torque ranging from 140Nm to 310Nm, enabling strong acceleration and hill-climbing capability across different vehicle classes. The rated power spans 60kW to 70kW, and the rated torque ranges from 80Nm to 150Nm, ensuring efficient operation under normal driving conditions. With a maximum speed of 16,000rpm, it supports high-speed operation required for efficient regenerative braking and engine start-stop functions in hybrid systems.
Operating within a wide voltage range of 190–450V DC, the unit is compatible with various battery configurations used in modern PHEVs, supporting both low-voltage and high-voltage platforms. The oil-cooling system ensures stable thermal performance under continuous high-load operation, preventing overheating during prolonged high-speed driving or repeated hard accelerations. This is critical for maintaining efficiency and extending the lifespan of the motor.
Engineered for reliability: operates reliably from -40°C to +125°C, withstanding vibrations up to 5g RMS and shock loads of 50G. The IP67-rated housing protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for use in wet, dusty, or muddy environments typical of urban and rural roads.
The stator and rotor are constructed using high-grade electrical steel laminations and rare-earth permanent magnets, optimized for minimal cogging, reduced iron losses, and high magnetic flux density. The precision-machined rotor shaft ensures smooth rotation and minimal vibration, even at high speeds. The modular design allows for easy integration into existing DHT systems, reducing development time and cost for OEMs.
