As a core power control component for new energy passenger vehicles, the PD29 dual-motor controller is tailor-made for hybrid (including plug-in hybrid PHEV and conventional hybrid HEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (REEV) platforms, covering both compact and midsize/large passenger vehicle models. Its design philosophy focuses on adapting to diverse vehicle requirements and optimizing  performance:
  1. Platform-based & Modular Design: The platform-based architecture enables the controller to match different power performance needs of various vehicle models, eliminating the need for full customization for each model and reducing development cycles. The modular design allows flexible adjustments to the external shape according to the overall vehicle layout requirements, enhancing compatibility with different vehicle chassis and electrical system configurations.

Compact & Lightweight Advantages: With a compact size of 400×238×138mm, the controller occupies minimal space, providing flexible installation options and saving valuable layout space for the vehicle (e.g., under the floor or in the engine compartment). The lightweight design (11.5kg) combined with high power density not only reduces the overall vehicle weight but also directly contributes to improving the vehicle’s cruising range—a key performance indicator for new energy vehicles.

Outstanding Performance & Safety: The controller delivers impressive electrical performance, supporting a voltage range of 190~450V to adapt to different battery configurations of new energy vehicles. It provides a peak current of 350Arms for the GM (Generator Motor) and 350~500Arms for the TM (Traction Motor), ensuring sufficient power output for vehicle acceleration, climbing, and other high-load scenarios. With a maximum efficiency of 99.0%, it minimizes energy loss during power conversion, further optimizing energy utilization. In terms of safety, it meets the ASIL C functional safety standard, effectively preventing faults such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature, and ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the vehicle’s power system. Additionally, it is equipped with CAN-FD communication functionality, enabling high-speed and reliable data transmission with other vehicle ECUs (Electronic Control Units), supporting real-time monitoring and control of the power system.
