The EX100 is a next-generation six-in-one integrated electric drive system designed for mid-to-high-end electric vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. It achieves unprecedented integration by combining the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), inverter, planetary gear reducer, on-board charger (OBC), DC-DC converter (DCDC), and power distribution unit (PDU) into a single compact module. This eliminates the need for multiple separate components, reducing weight, volume, and wiring complexity while improving thermal management and system efficiency.
At its core lies a high-efficiency PMSM delivering 104kW peak power and 199Nm peak torque, with a rated output of 48kW and 66Nm. The motor operates at a maximum speed of 18,000rpm, enabling high-speed performance and rapid acceleration. The planetary gearbox provides a reduction ratio of 13.5, optimizing torque delivery across the operating range. The entire system is cooled via a water-cooling loop, ensuring stable performance under continuous high-load operation and preventing thermal throttling during long drives or hill climbs.
The on-board charger (OBC) supports up to 6.6kW AC charging, allowing convenient home or public charging without external equipment. The DC-DC converter (DCDC) provides 2.5kW output for low-voltage systems (e.g., 12V battery), ensuring reliable power supply for auxiliary loads. The PDU manages power distribution to all subsystems, ensuring safe and efficient energy flow.
Engineered for reliability: operates reliably from -40°C to +125°C, withstanding vibrations up to 5g RMS and shock loads of 50G. The IP67-rated housing protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for use in wet, dusty, or muddy conditions typical of urban and rural environments.
